Financial Crisis

As with the case of many non-profit organizations, the MLPA is experiencing financial problems. While the vast majority of our activities are carried out by volunteers, we do have costs that must be paid. Our State Director is a paid employee, and her efforts are essential in making timely decisions and often in direct support of loon protection. Office costs, printing, and postage to produce our newsletter are fixed and rising.

While donations are greatly down, memberships remain our primary source of income. If you have not renewed your membership, please do so as soon as possible. Consider a donation. Thank you for your support.
